Here's how to download the ZIP file with your Instagram data. 👇

  1. From your Instagram account settings, under Settings and Activity, go to the Accounts Center.

    Go to the Accounts Center from Settings and Activity in Instagram.

  2. Inside the Accounts Center, select Your Information and Permissions.

    Select 'Your Information and Permissions' in the Accounts Center.

  3. Select the Download Your Information option.

    Click 'Download Your Information' inside the Accounts Center.

  4. Choose Download or Transfer Information.

    Select 'Download or Transfer Information' inside the Accounts Center.

  5. Select your Instagram account and click Next.

    Choose your Instagram account from the available options.

  6. We recommend selecting All Available Information.

    Select all available information.

  7. [OPTIONAL] If you chose Some of Your Information, make sure to include Followers and Following.

    Filter to include followers and following.

  8. Select Download to Device.

    Choose 'Download to Device'.

  9. IMPORTANT: You can change the format to JSON.

    Switch file format from HTML to JSON.

  10. [OPTIONAL] Select JSON as the file format.

    Select JSON as the format.

  11. Click Create Files and wait for Meta's email with your downloadable ZIP file.
